Internship: improving the usability of Welcome App

Welcome app is the all-in-one solution for newcomers to meet others, find information in their own language and participate in local activities. During my internship I've contributed two main products: a concrete recommendation for improvements to the UI/UX of the app and a pragmatic guide on how to conduct usability research/tests in the future. Findings were based on scientific research methods in the field as well as my experience researching the Tinder app (see 'Improving Tinder').
